Played a good bit yesterday and it really uses the game engine well. Though, it lacks the character progression I long for. :(

Only problem I have with the game is that if you get within any distance of the spawn points, you enter a mine field and blow up...

So is Tack saying he's a spawn camping noobling?
Last night they had us pushed into the spawn a couple times, I didn't see anyone stepping on mines, we had to push them back with some creative sniping. What I like is there are a lot of the CS and BF2 types there that think just rushing in is a good strategy but it makes them easy pickins.

It's not really mines, it's more of if you don't leave the spawn area, you fall over dead.

I have not gotten the map names down yet, but one I was playing yesterday was the snowy-forest one where the Soviets are pushing through the Germans front lines and into their trenches.

Anyways, the Soviets would blow the barbed wire and would slowly progress across the field of fox holes. I would run flank around them and literally wipe out about 5 or 6 from the side because no one was covering flanks. Then I'd get on a hill, and would randomly blow up. The spawn point was over the hill with no line of sight. ><

Houston, we have a problem. I tried logging in to play today and got a message "this game is no longer available for free".
