Thought I'd throw the link out there if anyone is bored and looking for a game that is actually in beta. I just got an invite today and am downloading the game as I speak. It was just a random website I signed up for a month or so ago, so I'm not too knowledgeable on the game atm. As soon as I get into game and play around, I'll let everyone know about it.

Third person-shooter with mechs and joystick support. Sounds good, but we'll see. From the specs it requires to run, it doesn't look to be very resource-heavy.

All's I have to say is WOW. It's a really great game, no joking. I really think it's the game I've been waiting for for a while. It's not an MMO so-to-speak, but it's like BF2-type character development. You play in servers and earn credits each round whether you win or lose.

Those credits are used to buy new weapons, new body armor parts which you can either buy as a set or by themselves. You also need to save money to repair durability every now and then. I have not repaired yet so I don't know if it's expensive or not.

You could whore money and buy the best thing fairly quickly, but what holds you back is rank requirement. Highest armor set maxes out at Major right now, but we don't know if it'll go higher in retail.

Really great game. Let me know if you guys get into the beta. Not sure if it's totally open beta yet, but it's still worth signing up for. Great fun.

I have a playNC master account, I'm tinkering with another game they are testing called dungeon runners. You have to hand it to them, none of their games are earth shattering but they all tend to be fun.

Did you give your member invite out yet?

I agree, though. None of the games are going to be Game of the Year, but they are very stable and have very friendly, supportive staff members. Let me know if you guys get it.
