Anarachy Online

I saw that you had been playing it on your Xfire for a little bit recently, Rhonnin. I had been thinking of downloading and trying it out just for kicks since I had nothing else to feel around with lately, but figured since all other MMO's I had tried recently failed, I lost heart.

People say it's a good game, minus the fact it's been out for quite a while. Anyone got any comments on it?
I kill people IRL.

My personal opinion, Anarchy Online is a waste of harddrive space. At least, the free version is, I dont have the expansions because I couldnt pay for it. It is a grindfest, the content generator missions get really old after you run about 100 of them, laggy as all hell, just no real positive values over other MMOs. I had a level 30-something before I quit, I forced myself to play that game for way too long.

I like it ok, it's fun and has it's moments. I play it with my wife because it's free and her machine will run it reasonably well. I played it when it was released for a couple months with my guild but it was a buggy laggy mess then, now there is very little lag and the mission instances are not buggy death traps. The graphics are very very dated if you don't have the expansions, which we don't, but if you can get past that it's a pretty fun casual play.
