Supposing the movie displayed persians as being anything less than human ("Sexual degenerates and Barbarians") I could sorta see why they'd be offended. The part that gets me is this:

There were parts that could be considered that... But (atleast from what I can tell) that's how it was in the graphic novel, and this is an adaptation of that... So it's not exactly the most historically accurate thing there is...

But doesn't Iran also deny the Holocaust ever happened as well?
